This policy applies to the Pledge Care website, the Pledge Care mobile app, and related support interactions. By using Pledge Care, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Pledge Care may collect the following types of information:

• account details such as name, email address, and login provider information when you sign in with Apple or Google
• profile information you choose to provide, such as preferences, language, and timezone
• pledge-related content, including pledge titles, reminder schedules, confirmations, notes, history, and care connections
• device and app usage information needed to support reminders, subscriptions, diagnostics, analytics, and account security
• push notification tokens and notification preference settings
• subscription and purchase status information provided through app stores and subscription infrastructure
• support communications when you contact [email protected] or [email protected]
• photos and voice messages you attach to a message for someone you care about

3. How we use information

• to create and manage user accounts
• to deliver reminders and show pledge progress
• to support accountability features for yourself and trusted connections
• to remember preferences such as language, time format, timezone, and DND
• to provide customer support and resolve technical issues
• to manage subscriptions, restore purchases, and prevent abuse
• to improve product quality through diagnostics and analytics

4. Authentication and sign-in providers

Pledge Care supports sign in with Apple and Google. When you use these providers, some account information is shared with Pledge Care so your account can be created and authenticated.

5. Notifications

If you enable notifications, Pledge Care may use notification tokens and operating system permission status to deliver reminders and keep notification preferences in sync. You can change these settings in the app and in your device settings.

6. Subscriptions and purchases

Subscription purchases are handled through the relevant app store and subscription infrastructure. Pledge Care may receive subscription status, plan information, entitlement state, and limited purchase metadata needed to unlock features and restore access.

7. Analytics and diagnostics

Pledge Care may collect anonymized or pseudonymized analytics and diagnostic information to improve reliability, understand feature usage, and reduce bugs. Where the app provides analytics controls, those settings are respected.

8. Sharing of information

Pledge Care does not sell personal information. Information may be shared only when needed to operate the app, process subscriptions, deliver notifications, provide authentication, comply with legal obligations, or protect users and the service.

9. Data retention

Information is retained only for as long as needed to operate Pledge Care, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce policies. If you delete your account, associated personal data is removed or anonymized according to operational and legal requirements. Photos and voice messages attached to messages are stored on our servers and permanently deleted after at most 90 days; the message text itself is kept. In the app you can look back at up to 90 days of pledge history, so an attachment stays available for as long as it can be reached.

10. Account deletion

You can request account deletion directly inside the app. See the Delete Account page for the current in-app steps. If you cannot access the app, contact support.

11. Children's privacy

Pledge Care is not intended for children to use independently without appropriate supervision. If you believe information has been provided improperly, contact support.
